Rules of the Soap Box GP :

Generally a kart team may consist of up to 5 persons :- A driver, a start line mechanic to attend and push start the kart, two pit stop mechanics to pull the kart into the pit lane and to push it out, and a finishing line mechanic to assist the driver in returning the Kart to the start line. Drivers and mechanics can be switched around between runs however the team members may not be substituted by others during the GP. The run will consist of a five meter push start area where one mechanic is allowed to push start the kart. Half way down the track the kart will enter a twenty five meter pit lane area where it can be manually assisted into a marked out pit box by the two pit mechanics. The driver is then required to pass batton to a mechanic who then runs to a pit box and changes it for another batton before returning the new batton to the driver in the kart. The two pit mechanics are then allowed to push start the kart to the end of the pit lane. The kart will then proceed to the finishing line to complete the run.
